SEO Services for Small Businesses

SEO services from Found First help small businesses improve their visibility, strengthen the pages that matter and generate more qualified enquiries over time.

You work directly with me, Dave Bell, on a practical monthly programme. I identify the most useful priorities, carry out the agreed work and explain what changed in plain English.

The focus may include Google Search, local results and AI-assisted discovery, but the commercial goal comes first: helping more of the right people find, understand and choose your business.

What you get from monthly SEO services

Most small businesses do not need to do every possible SEO task every month. They need the right work in the right order.

In my experience, the best SEO services combine strategy, implementation and measurement. You should know what is being worked on, why it matters and whether it helped.

1

Clear priorities

I choose the work with the strongest connection to your services, customers and current opportunities.

2

Hands-on improvements

The work can cover commercial pages, content, internal links, technical foundations and local visibility.

3

Useful content

We improve or create pages that match the real user intent. That way, no matter where your potential customer is in the funnel, they’ll find their way to you.

4

Direct communication

You work with me, not a chain of account managers. I explain what changed, why and what the evidence shows.

SEO work shaped around your priorities

The monthly plan is not a fixed checklist. I prioritise work according to your goals, competition and available resources. That can include:

  • commercial pages and on-page SEO
  • technical SEO, indexation and internal linking
  • content planning, creation and improvement
  • local SEO, Google Business Profile and reviews
  • credible proof, relevant mentions and authority
  • ChatGPT and AI-search visibility
  • content and improvements across the whole customer journey

I think a useful SEO plan is also about what we choose not to do. You should not pay to fix every minor tool warning or publish content with no clear job.

This follows Google's Search Essentials and its guidance for AI features, which emphasise useful content and established SEO fundamentals.

The Google Search Console speaks for itself

Dave pulled apart a first-mover proposition website with laser precision...

...What I now have is a structured 40-piece content roadmap, organised into six topic clusters with clear hub-and-spoke architecture and internal linking logic I genuinely didn't understand before.

I know which pages to build first, why, and how they connect. The content structure is mapped across awareness, consideration and decision stages — so every piece of content has a purpose in the buyer journey rather than just existing.

The Google Search Console data since then speaks for itself — both impressions and clicks have trended upward in a way they simply weren't before.

The exact scope depends on your website, competition, goals and internal resources. If a smaller project or audit is the better choice, I will say so.

Not ready for monthly SEO?

The SEO and GEO Visibility Audit starts from £590 and gives you a manual review, clear priorities and a practical action plan with no ongoing contract required.

What the first three months may look like

Every website starts in a different place, but a typical opening cycle looks like this:

1

Month one: establish the baseline

Confirm the goals, review the website and search landscape, check measurements, analyse your competitors, agree the first priorities and get to work.

2

Month two: improve the strongest opportunities

We work on the pages, content, technical issues, local signals and landing pages most likely to improve useful visibility and enquiries.

3

Month three: build and learn

Continue implementation, review early evidence and decide what the next cycle should prioritise.

Some changes appear quickly, while competitive improvements usually take longer. Google says changes may take from a few hours to several months, so we make informed changes, measure them and keep learning.

How we measure SEO performance

The most important metrics depend on your business goals and whether your tracking is reliable. We agree the useful measures at the start and review them in context.

Measure

What it can tell us

Qualified enquiries, bookings or sales

Whether organic visibility is contributing to meaningful business outcomes

Visibility for commercial searches

Whether priority services are becoming easier to find for relevant searches

Organic clicks and landing pages

Which pages and search themes bring useful visitors from search

Local and AI activity

Relevant local actions, AI referrals and cited mentions where these support the goals

Rankings and traffic are useful supporting indicators, but a smaller increase in the right enquiries can be worth more than a large increase in unrelated visits.

Affordable SEO should still be accountable

Affordable SEO services should fit the value and resources of the business. Cheap SEO can suit a small, defined task, but it becomes risky when the price depends on mass-produced content, automated links or vague deliverables. Compare who does the work, what is included and the total cost of getting it done properly.

Experience from building a search-led business

Before Found First, I co-founded and helped grow Hurry The Food Up. The website attracted around 4.2 million visits per year (peaking at 6 million during Covid), supported an email audience of more than 80,000 readers and generated over 100,000 app downloads before we sold the business in 2025.

That experience taught me that traffic only matters when the content, offer and conversion path work together. Found First is deliberately founder-led: I research, prioritise and explain the work myself.

Are Found First's SEO services right for you?

Ongoing support is likely to suit you if:

  • you run a small or growing business and want more of the right enquiries, leads and customers
  • you want direct access to the person planning and carrying out the work
  • you value clear priorities, practical implementation and honest reporting
  • you are prepared to improve your website and content over time

It is probably a poor fit if you want hundreds of mass-produced pages, secret tactics, falsely promised guaranteed rankings or an instant result without making meaningful improvements to the website.

    A real Eye-Opener

The visibility audit and subsequent consultation with Found First were a real eye-opener for my Business English Service.

Since Business English over the phone occupies a very specific niche, it was important for me to understand how I could present it more effectively online. The consultation made it clear to me that traditional SEO isn’t enough for CASTLE® Pro.

As a provider of a virtually unknown service that isn’t in high demand and isn’t region-specific, our priority is now clearly on GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).

Dave explained to us, both patiently and clearly, how essential it is to integrate the website and search engine with all their associated components – from content structure and internal linking to optimizing the Google Business Profile for Google Maps.

In addition to their in-depth expertise, I was particularly impressed by the excellent advice and friendly support from the Found First team. Thanks to their professional guidance, my business now has a clear, long-term roadmap.

With this truly well-thought-out content strategy and concrete, practical recommendations, I finally feel confident that I can position my offerings professionally online and specifically improve my discoverability.

Now it’s time to put it into action, and I’m super motivated because I feel confident that I’ve finally understood how to go about it. Thank you so much, Dave!

Frequently asked questions

What do monthly SEO services include?

The work can include strategy, commercial-page improvements, technical SEO, content creation, landing and sales pages, internal links, local SEO, authority, measurement and AI-search visibility. The priorities depend on your goals and starting point.

How much do SEO services cost?

Growth SEO starts from £1,299 per month, Pro SEO from £2,149 and the one-off Visibility Audit from £590. The final scope and price are agreed before work begins. Smaller service packages are also available on request. Prices exclude VAT where applicable.

How do I choose the best SEO services?

Choose support that matches your goals, budget and market. Ask who will do the work, how priorities are chosen, what implementation is included and how success will be measured.

How long does SEO take?

Some fixes can be reflected quickly, while competitive growth usually takes longer. I set expectations after reviewing the website, competition and implementation capacity.

Do I need an SEO audit first?

Not always. An audit is useful when the problems are unclear. If you already have sound research and priorities, we may be able to begin with implementation.

Can you guarantee first-page rankings?

No. Nobody controls a search result. I can provide careful research, practical work and honest measurement, but not a guaranteed position.

Do your SEO services include ChatGPT and GEO?

Yes, of course. I can improve the clear, credible information that supports visibility in AI answers. This builds on good SEO rather than replacing it.

Do you work with UK businesses?

Yes. I am British and based in Germany, and I work remotely with UK and international businesses. Research and content are adapted to each market.
