How do you become visible in AI searches?
To become visible in AI searches, your business needs to be easy to understand, easy to verify and present in the sources AI systems are likely to use. That usually means a combination of strong SEO, clear content, third-party mentions, reviews, authority signals and technical clarity.
Start with search intent
Good GEO still starts with good SEO. Your content should answer real user questions clearly and directly. If people ask, “Who is the best provider for X?”, “What does X cost?” or “Which company can help with Y?”, your site should contain pages that genuinely answer those questions. Building an area of authority for your site is still fundamental to SEO, and Google themselves recently said you should stay focused on good SEO.
Build proof outside your own website
Your own website can make claims, but external sources help prove them. Reviews, client testimonials, case studies, directory listings, listicles, guest posts, YouTube videos, comparison content and relevant backlinks all contribute to the wider online footprint AI systems can see.
Measure before guessing
One of the most useful first steps is an audit. Which AI tools mention you? Which competitors appear instead? What sources are being cited? Which query fan-outs are you missing? Without that visibility picture, GEO quickly becomes guesswork. For more information on query fan out, please see here. It is very important for AI visibility. In fact, I would say it is one of the most important pieces of GEO/AEO/HEO there is.
Further practical answers are available in the AI Visibility FAQ. If you would like a full audit of your site, you can contact us or see more details about our SEO & GEO Visibility Audits and Content Planning here.
